True faith in God and His Word is an awesome gift given to everyone who loves and follows Jesus.

1) And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith. Deuteronomy 32:20

(Those who don’t love God, cannot not have faith in Him, and He is unable to save them from their sins.)

2) The just shall live by his faith. Habakkuk 2:4

(Faith in God will take us through every test and give us the assurance of His love and power to overcome sin.)

3) Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Matthew 6:30

(If grass is important to God, certainly we should be able to trust in Him.)

4) And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm. Matthew 8:26

(With Jesus, we can have peace even in the midst of life’s most difficult trials.)

5) ...they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. Matthew 9:2

(Jesus rewards the faith others have in Him for us, even if our own faith may be weak.)

6) Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. Matthew 9:29

(You too can have faith in His healing touch.)

7) If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20

(If we place our faith in Him, however small it may appear, He will do amazing things for us. Do you believe?)

8) And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. Mark 11:22

((People today are told to believe in themselves, but God’s Word does not encourage us to do this. What we need is faith in God. This faith is a true and living faith.)

9) And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. Luke 17:5

(God will give us faith, but we must first see our need and ask Him to supply what we lack.)

10) So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

(You receive faith from God through studying the promises found in His Word.)

11) God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. Romans 12:3

(He gives each of us enough faith to believe in Him, but we must follow Him to have our faith increased.)

12) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. 2 Corinthians 13:5

(The kind of faith we need is faith in God. We should search our hearts to see if our faith is truly grounded in Him.)

13) And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:15

(The study of God’s Word transforms our hearts and lives, and by faith we receive eternal life through Jesus our Savior.)

14) Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Hebrews 11:1 (Our faith in God is the foundation of our hope in Him, and this faith will enable us to trust the promises in His Word.)

15) Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith. Hebrews 12:2

(Jesus is the Creator and Supplier of our faith. He gives us faith and completes the perfecting of our faith in Him.)

16) Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my faith by my works. James 2:17-18

(Faith must take action. True faith must allow God to transform us into His image as it takes hold of the promises in His Word. This is a living faith and has a saving influence in our lives.)

17) Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus. Revelation 14:12
