Healing

Everyone who has ever lived has been born into a world of sickness and death. From almost the moment we are born we begin to die. Thankfully, in His infinite love, God has placed within His Word a prescription for healing all our diseases. Click here to view this lesson.

1) A merry heart doeth good like a medicine... Proverbs 17:22

(Physical health has a direct relationship to our thoughts. “For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he.” (Proverbs 23:7).)

2) From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in it; but wounds, and bruises, and putrifying sores... Isaiah 1:6

(Spiritually we have all been sick. The relationship between spiritual and physical health is closely connected and not clearly understood by many..)

5) If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you. Matthew 17:20

9) He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; ...And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:12-14

12) Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. James 5:14-15

(Thankfully, God has given us hope and an outline to follow if we become sick. While spiritual healing is never denied a sincere repentant person, the exact method or time for physical healing is not revealed.)
